I'm a newby in Trados Studio, just have installed a trial license.
Unfortunately, the result is frustrating. Despite following
the introductory videos exactly, I have not yet produced a single
translation (after days) - no matter how trivial and short the text.
It seems to me that the problem lies in the translation memories - in
any case there is no result, regardless of the language.
I know this is an unqualified question, but does anyone have an
idea what this could be?

Yes, it is unqualified. Can you explain exactly what you did to create your project, open the file for translation and attempt to produce a translation? I think it's a little too wide a topic to try and answer this until you narrow it down a bit to help see where you got stuck.
