Project View- How to sort files by date (added/modified)

Hi Trados Dev

sorting files in Project View is an essential feature, but lacking sorting by date

this feature is built-in in all other CAT tools, I wonder why Trados missed it

is there a plugin to do it or is it impossible

Trados Studio Project View showing a list of files with columns for Name, Words, File Status, Progress, Size, Usage, File Type Id, Path, and Cloud Task. A 'sort' button is visible with no date sorting option.

  • Hello,

I understand your need for sorting files by date in the Project View. Currently, Trados Studio does not have a built-in feature to sort files by date in the Project View. However, you can sort projects by their creation date in the Projects View by clicking on 'Created At'.

As for a plugin, there isn't one available at the moment that can provide this specific functionality in the Project View. However, Trados Studio is always evolving, and user feedback is a crucial part of that process. I encourage you to share your suggestion on the RWS Community platform, as it could be considered for future updates.

I hope this information is helpful. If you have any other questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
