How to lock repeated segments in a project (several files)

Question

Hi 
 We have 2 files where there are repeated segments. We would like to lock the exact similar segments so that only the first time the segment appears can be seen (ie so that the second translator who will work on the second file won't have to retranslate what the 1st will be doing at the same time). 
 Is there a way to do this when opening for example both files at the same time?

 Open all files in project in virtual merge, use display filter or advanced display filter to show repetitions accordingly (all or without first occurence), select them all and lock.
