Propagate window opening in a fantom screen

How can I "move" the automatic propagation pop-up window from a fantom screen? This happened when I went from working on two screens to working on my laptop screen. Ever since I've come back to two screens, I can't make it come back in the visible part of any of the screens. I have googled this and found a few tips, but none of them have worked so far (windows button + arrow).

My version is: Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338

Thank you.

  • Hello,

I understand that you're having trouble with the automatic propagation pop-up window appearing off-screen when switching from multiple screens to a single screen. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this issue:

Step 1: Open Trados Studio 2021.

Step 2: Navigate to the "View" tab on the top menu.

Step 3: Click on "Reset Window Layout". This should bring all windows, including the auto-propagation window, back to your main screen.

If you frequently switch between multiple and single display setups, you can use a Windows feature to move the Auto-propagate window:

Step 1: Wait for the auto-propagation prompt to pop up.

Step 2: Keep the Windows key pressed.

Step 3: Use the arrow keys to move the window back to the visible part of your screen.

Please note that this needs to be done immediately after the prompt pops up. If you click outside of Trados Studio, this method will no longer work on the Auto-propagate window.

If you're experiencing this issue with Trados Studio itself, you can repair your installation of Trados Studio to resolve the problem.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
