Hello,

I'm viewing a French tutorial about alignment in Studio 2017. I bought Studio version 2022 (freelance).

I do not find the "Alignment editing mode" button as shown hereunder in blue color  which allows to tick box

Thanks for your help

  • Hi ,

The alignment feature in Trados Studio has been updated since the 2017 version. In Trados Studio 2022, you can access the alignment feature by following these steps:

Step 1: Open Trados Studio 2022.

Step 2: Click on the "Add-Ins" tab at the top of the screen.

Step 3: In the drop-down menu, select "Alignment".

Step 4: You will then see the "Align Documents" option. Click on it to start the alignment process.

Please note that the "Alignment editing mode" button may not be present in the same way as in the 2017 version. However, the functionality remains the same. You can still align your documents and edit the alignment as needed.

If you're still having trouble finding the alignment feature, you might want to check if your Trados Studio 2022 is up to date. You can do this by going to the "Help" menu and selecting "Check for Updates".

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,

    Oana
