Trados Studio 2021 to 2022 upgrade/migration best practice

Hi, I have just upgraded from Trados Studio 2021 to Trados Studio 2022 and have a question on best practice for migration (of projects, TMs and other associated files).

I note as part ofd the upgrade a new folder /documents/studio 2022 was created and presumably new projects will be placed in this.

Having upgraded a few times from previous versions, I have a trail of projects in different documents subfolders, which is quite a mess at this stage and I would like to organise this better.

Many of my customers are long-term customers, so I will need to access previous project data, esp. TM and terms. What is the best practice for migrating files and projects ? Should I move or copy the 2021 folders and files into the new /Studio 2022 subfolder ? What is recommended here or should I just open them in the old /Studio 2021 subfolder? Also, can I even open the files or do I need to do some other migration actions first?

Thanks in advance,

Susanne
