SDL Trados Studio 2021 opening multiple network files much slower than Studio 2019

Question

Hello, 
 When we have to open all sdlxliff files in a project containing a lot of files stored on a network share (Windows Server), SDL Trados Studio 2021 (SR2 16.2.12.9338) is much slower than SDL Trados Studio 2019 (SR2 15.2.0.1041). We have both on our Windows 11 virtual machines. For example, I have a project containing 543 files. On Studio 2021, it takes 10 minutes to open all the files. On Studio 2019, it takes only 1 minute 52 seconds to open the same project. If I copy that project on local drive, it takes only 1 minute 40 seconds on Studio 2021 to open the files. 
 Once all network sdlxliff files are opened, moving from one segment to another is also very slow on Studio 2021 (10 seconds on Studio 2021 against 3 seconds on Studio 2019 with the same files). 
 I removed all apps, reinstalled Studio 2021. The problem remains. Is there any problem with Studio 2021 related to network performance?

Manohar Radjanedrane For those kind of volumes I cant say too much, as many would say you may need solutions other than a Trados Studio desktop client application that can withstand that sort of volume. That said, your 543 files may be small in size and I understand its fare to compare performance between versions. If 2019 was great but 2021 not as much, could it be you have internal exceptions in place for 2019 but not for 2021. See this article
