Hi, I recently updated to a new version of Word (365 subscription) and now when I click on a Word document icon, Trados (and only Trados!!) starts to open. Also, my desktop which is usually a sea of Word icons is now a sea of Trados icons. Why has the default for opening a Word doc become Trados? How do I change this? Thank you
This is a windows function, probably caused by you asking your computer to open a word file for translation from the file manager menu and say "always" or something like that. It's better to always open files for translation from within Studio.
Anyway, you need to go to your settings and reset your file associations for Word I think. This may be helpful
