Analyze Files to create a quote Studio 2022

Hi, I work once a year with the same client, and I use the same TM each year, upgraded. I need to analyze the file before translating. This time, the Analyze batch doesn't show me any results at all. What am I doing wrong?

  • Hello,

It seems like you're following the correct steps to analyze your files in Trados Studio 2022. However, if you're not seeing any results, it could be due to a few reasons. Here's what you can do:

Step 1: Ensure that your Translation Memory (TM) is properly connected to your project. You can check this by going to Project Settings > Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Translation Memory and Automated Translation. Your TM should be listed there.

Step 2: Check if your file is properly imported into your project. You can verify this by looking at the 'Files' view in your project. If your file is not listed there, you might need to re-import it.

Step 3: Make sure that the 'Analyze Files' batch task is enabled. You can check this by going to Project Settings > Language Pairs > All Language Pairs > Batch Processing. 'Analyze Files' should be checked.

Step 4: Run the 'Analyze Files' batch task again. You can do this by right-clicking your file in the 'Files' view and selecting 'Batch Tasks' > 'Analyze Files'.

If you've followed these steps and you're still not seeing any results, it might be a good idea to try creating a new project with the same settings and see if the issue persists.

Remember, it's important to keep your software up to date. Check for updates within the application regularly to ensure optimal performance.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
