Trados Studio SR2: WSXZ package will not open

I downloaded the WSXZ compatibility pack from within my Trados Studio 2022 SR2, installed it and tried to open a WorldServer package to no avail.

Hi Jerzy Czopik , please check the version number of your WorldServer Components after the installation. This is the correct version for Trados Studio 2022 SR2 both in the App Store and on my computer:

Many thanks for your answer. Astonishingly, downloading the version from AppStore via Trados Studio SR2 seems to collect the wrong one. After having downloaded and installed the correct version via AppStore directly, I can now receive WSXZ packages.

Hi again Jerzy Czopik , I confirm that in Trados Studio 2022 SR2 (version 17.2.8.1962), if you download the WorldServer components from Studo directly, the downloaded version is wrong, more exactly, it is version 17.5.1933, which is outdated and causes the error when opening WSXZ package. However, the issue is already fixed in the very recent Studio 2022 SR2 CU9 version that was released 2 days ago (version 17.2.9.18688). In this version, the WS component downloaded from Studio matches the latest one on the RWS App store and works fine when opening WSXZ packages.

I think this is now fixed. It was caused by the incorrect maxversion set in the appstore manager for older versions of this 2022 release that we use to host the apps. I think should work now. So many versions of the same app for the same major release has caused us problems, but now we are well aware of the problem and need to be more diligent in setting them up!
