  • Hello,

I understand that you're having trouble opening a WorldServer package in Trados Studio 2022 SR2 even after installing the WSXZ compatibility pack. The error message you're seeing suggests that there's a missing method in the Sdl.ProjectApi, which is causing the issue.

Here's how you can resolve this:

Step 1: Close your Trados Studio 2022 SR2 if it's currently running.

Step 2: Go to the RWS AppStore and find the WorldServer Compatibility Pack for Trados Studio.

Step 3: Click on the Download button. You will be prompted to select your Trados Studio 2022 version. Please ensure you select the correct version.

Step 4: Once the download starts, you will get the component in an archive called WorldServer Components.zip.

Step 5: Unzip the archive file and double-click on the installer WorldServer Components.msi. Run through the installation, which should only take a few seconds.

Step 6: After the installation is completed, reopen Trados Studio 2022 SR2. You should now be able to open WorldServer packages without any issues.

If the problem persists, it might be due to a more complex issue and you may need to reinstall Trados Studio 2022 SR2.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
