  • Hello,

It seems like you're having trouble with the "Translation Memory and Document Settings" window not appearing in Trados Studio 2022. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you resolve this issue:

    Step 1: Close Trados Studio.

Step 2: Press the Windows and R keys at the same time, enter %temp% in the blank field, and then click on OK. Delete all the files and folders, if possible.

Step 3: (Optional) Turn off UAC (User Account Control) by navigating to Control Panel > User Accounts > Change User Account Control Settings, put it to No notification.

Step 4: Reset the settings files for Trados Studio. To do this, you can follow the instructions provided in the RWS Support article titled "Resetting the settings files for Trados Studio and running a repair". You can find this article by searching for it in the RWS Support portal.

Step 5: After resetting the settings, try to run a repair of Trados Studio. This can usually be done from the "Programs and Features" section of your computer's Control Panel.

Step 6: Restart Trados Studio and try to drag a file for translation again. The "Translation Memory and Document Settings" window should now appear as expected.

If the problem persists, it might be a good idea to reinstall Trados Studio 2022. Remember to back up your settings and resources before doing so.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
