Trados Studio 2021 TMs not showing latest matches in TM view, but they do show in concordance

Trados Studio 2021

So I need to delete some TUs from my TM as I need to analyse a file I've already translated.

However, looking up the TM in TM view and going to the last page, the last TUs shown are not the most recent things I've translated in that TM. If I look them up in concordance in the editor view I do see them, however. I've checked and there were no Project TMs used and the segments were saved correctly in the editor view.

Any ideas?

Thanks

  • Hello,

It seems like you're experiencing an issue with the Translation Memory (TM) view in Trados Studio 2021. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve this:

Step 1: Ensure that your TM is updated to the latest version. If there's an orange triangle next to its symbol, it needs to be upgraded.

Step 2: If you have multiple TMs, check and upgrade all of them if necessary.

Step 3: Try reorganizing your TM. This can be done by going to the Translation Memories view, right-clicking on the TM, and selecting 'Reorganize'. This process can help to ensure that all recent translations are properly indexed and visible in the TM view.

Step 4: If the issue persists, you might want to consider creating a new TM and importing the contents of the old one into it. This can sometimes resolve issues related to the visibility of recent translations.

Remember, it's always a good idea to back up your TMs before making any major changes to them.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards,
