translation memory does not upload

After making sure Trados is fully updated we are getting errors when trying to load translatio memery. Here are the steps we follow to upload: 

  1. go to project settings
  2. choose file based memory
  3. select file where memory is saved
  4. upload

Below is the error log.

    Now, that you can access the TM, the first thing I would do is to reindex it (or if the small orange triangle shows, click on the "Upgrade" button) to make sure your TM is in a good state.

    Then I would check when the last entry was made by going to the end of the TM. If entries you expect are missing, this can have several reasons, either the TM was not connected or the "Update" box was not checked. It will be difficult to find out retroactively. But once you know when the last entry was made, you can simply import the SDLXLIFFs of all translations you made since then. This can be done very easily. 
    I also suggest you regularly make a TMX export of your TM, so that you can recover it by recreating it anytime.
