There is nothing I can change in my computer to improve Trado's performance. I have the fastest SSD M.2 Nvme GEN4 possible, 32GB RAM, 13-gen processor, and Trados is still slow. I can notice when it is processing after each segment confirmation and each process you run. Fun fact: I didn't notice any performance improvement when I upgraded from 8GB RAM to 32 GB RAM, I felt a little improvement when I upgraded from an HDD to Nvme Gen4 but only during the opening of the program.

Maybe it's not hardware related at all?  Have you reviewed the information in this KB?

Unfortunately, I've tried everything on that kb. Disabled every safety measure possible, tried with Windows safe mode + internet, etc. I'm pretty sure it's a software issue. Trados is the slowest CAD tool I've ever used and the only reason I continue using it is because some clients require it.

There is always room for improvement but I don't find it as slow as you're describing and my work laptop is nowhere near as performant as yours.  Something is surely affecting your performance.  Do you use OneDrive perhaps or something like that?  Most new computers these days come with OneDrive "helpfully" configured to really screw up the way you work.  Maybe this is contributing to the problem with files not being as available as you may think they are?

I'm thankful for your patience in trying to help my issue, so I'll address the details of my complaint. Like I said before, I work for some clients and I need to use Trados Cloud Engines. That's the real issue. When I'm using local files I can barely feel any delay, although there is a delay that I don't feel using any other CAD (a few milliseconds), but when I'm using trados cloud engines I can feel around half a second up to 1 second delay after each segment confirmation. I don't believe it's a connection issue since my kid uses this computer for games and it averages 2 ms ping with a 1Gbps connection. I know it's nothing bad but, as I said before, this is something I don't feel with any other CAD Tool and TRADOS is by far the most expensive one. I can say that I have close to the highest processing capabilities possible nowadays and shouldn't feel anything like this. That's why I'm complaining about software optimization

I would've done that if anything on that part of the forum helped even a little, but it's all useless with hundreds of users complaining about the same thing since 2021.  I know there is room for improvement but RWS can't release a feature just because it's trending without properly making it functional. The TRADOS base code is extremely old and heavy, it's not something you can just add more features and expect to work like it's brand new and as optimized as other software remade to use that kind of feature. We could even say that TRADOS 2021 is an alpha version and 2022 is in its beta stages, all being paid by its user base.
