Trados is still in its 2022 version, it has horrible optimization, it's heavy like a whale, and tries to be like Office/Microsoft 365 but forgets that the goal of cloud processing is for the software to be as light and fluid as possible.

  • I'm thankful for your patience in trying to help my issue, so I'll address the details of my complaint. Like I said before, I work for some clients and I need to use Trados Cloud Engines. That's the real issue. When I'm using local files I can barely feel any delay, although there is a delay that I don't feel using any other CAD (a few milliseconds), but when I'm using trados cloud engines I can feel around half a second up to 1 second delay after each segment confirmation. I don't believe it's a connection issue since my kid uses this computer for games and it averages 2 ms ping with a 1Gbps connection. I know it's nothing bad but, as I said before, this is something I don't feel with any other CAD Tool and TRADOS is by far the most expensive one. I can say that I have close to the highest processing capabilities possible nowadays and shouldn't feel anything like this. That's why I'm complaining about software optimization
