Translation memory window only shows source

I use Trados Studio 2019 and my Translation Memory window only shows the source segment (exactly as it's shown in the editor). I tried to reset the windows layout, re-start Trados and the computer, I repair Trados and I followed the advice from this thread (it seems to be exactly the same problem) community.rws.com/.../translation-results-window-displays-only-source but without any success. The problem is the same for all projects.

Any other suggestions how this could be solved?

Kind regards,
Anne

  • Hello Anne,

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Translation Memory window in Trados Studio 2019. Here are a few more steps you can try:

Step 1: Check your display settings. Sometimes, high DPI settings can cause display issues in Trados Studio. Try adjusting your display settings to see if this resolves the issue.

Step 2: Update your Trados Studio. Make sure you're running the latest version of Trados Studio 2019. You can check for updates within the application.

Step 3: Reinstall Trados Studio. If the problem persists, you might need to uninstall and then reinstall Trados Studio. Remember to back up your Translation Memories and other important data before doing this.

Step 4: Check your Translation Memory settings. Make sure that the settings for displaying target segments in the Translation Memory window are correctly configured.

I hope these steps help you resolve the issue. If you're still having trouble, please let me know and I'll do my best to assist you further.
