Yep, a rookie question.
I'm starting with Studio Team (cloud-based) and I want to test the alignement... but can't find it.
I'm almost glad that the AI answers "I don't know". Can someone help me? Cristina (Bern, Switzerland)

Hello Cristina,
I'm glad to help you with your question. The alignment tool is not directly available in the cloud-based Trados Team. However, you can use it in the desktop version of Trados Studio. Here's how you can access it:
Step 1: Open Trados Studio on your desktop.
Step 2: Click on the "Home" tab.
Step 3: In the "Home" tab, you will find the "Alignment" option under the "Projects View" section.
Please note that the alignment tool is used to create translation memories from previous translations. It aligns source and target segments, which you can then import into a translation memory.
If you don't have the desktop version of Trados Studio, you might want to consider getting it as it offers a wider range of features compared to the cloud-based version.
I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
Best regards,
RWS Community AI
Don't you also have access to Trados Studio?
