Trados 2021 crashes when opening pptx for translation (no error message)

Question

Hello everyone. 
 I received a project with a pptx file to translate, but when I try to open the file for translation in Studio 2021, the program crashes with no error message. The pptx file itself is not corrupted, nor is the project, since the pptx opens well in PowerPoint and a colleague of mine was able to manage the project just fine in her machine. I have already updated to the latest Studio 2021 version (16.2.9.9198) and tied different settings in the file types (the Microsoft Power Point 2007-2019 is selected). Could you please give me a clue as to what else I can try to solve the problem?

The same problem. Trados Studio is already updated (Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338). 
 In my case, the problem was solved with the workaround described here: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0036311 
 Go to File > Options > Editor and in the Formatting Display Style field change the value to Show all tags but do not show formatting . 
 It seems to have something to do with the long font names in the file, and although it says Studio 2021 SR1 CU4 fixes the problem, it keeps recurring.

Can you open other .pptx files correctly? 
 If you can, please try the following: 
 1. Open the file as single file for translation - check if it works without shutting Studio down. 
 2. Create a new project with the .sdlxliff file from your project folders -

 The teams are aware of this issue (internal case CRQ - 27585) and a fix will be implemented in the next Studio release. 
 However, can you share them so we can run a new set of tests further?
