Is it possible to translate a website in Studio 2014?

Is it possible to translate a website in Studio 2014 without having to copy and paste it all? When I attempted to do it I could only upload the first page. It would be very handy! 

I'm sorry this is a really simple question, but because of the keywords, there are millions of results when I search.

    Hi Karen,

    Yes, it is. When I've translated websites, the client simply provides a series of html pages and I work on them in one project together.

    If you have to download the website yourself, first create a folder on your system so you can easily find the files when you come to add them in Studio.
    Then, open each web page you want to translate in your usual internet browser, click on the tools/settings shortcut/button (Tools 'cog' icon in IE) (Customise & control 'List' icon in Chrome), usually top right nowadays (used to be top left), then select 'File > Save as...'(IE) 'Save page as'(Chrome) or the equivalent, from the dropdown menu that appears, you can download the site page by page.

    Remember to navigate to the folder you created before you save them.

    Then, if you know how to create a project* in Studio, you can add all the files to it at once by just selecting that folder. Studio will recognise the html format and you will be able to either open each file individually or open all the files at the same time (better) so that any content that is repeated will automatically update to each file. This saves time and also makes the content as inter-consistent as possible.

    If you want to check a page at any time, used 'Save Target as...' in Studio and it will save an html page in your Target language folder and you can double-click on it to see what it will look like. It automatically should open in your internet browser, thus looking something like it would online.

    Studio's not designed for interfacing directly with web content.

    *To create a project in Studio, one way is to hit Ctrl+N. If you aren't used to working with projects, then click the Help button bottom left of the window that appears and it should take you to the relevant help instructions, though that is not working for me today...

    That's very useful. I had already an idea of this procedure. I am practicing to translate a little website, but... it doesn't work.
    I did all you describe here with no success. I wonder what could it be. I even checked attributes of the tags...
    After finishing my translation and "save target as..." I try to see what it will looks like, but nothing occurs.

    I'm using Studio 2017, by the way.

    What does this mean?  Studio doesn't save the target file?
