It driving me nuts to always switch back to the Find and Replace window every time I need to copy or do some modification in my segments, coz the window I keep on working with went behind the main window of the program. I would hardly expect such behavior in MS WORD
How and/or why Trados Developers would decided to go that strange way? Was it made intentionally for any useful reason? Is there a way to tick off that behavior?

I'd vote for it, at least considering adding an Always on Top checkbox to the Find and Replace dialog box.
If you use AutoHotkey, you can use a simple script to do it. Let me know and I'll post the script here.

I am not posting any ideas. Isn't it obvious that Find and replace should be Always on Top with no need for any additional manipulations from user side?
Please share the script you have just mentioned, but I have no admin rights to install anything on my Company computer.
