My Target and Source languages are limited to two in new version of Trados. I can only select various dialects of Spanish and English as source and target languages. I'm unable to create a translation memory that isn't either of these languages.
Anyone who knows why this is so?
In fact you can chose 5 languages when installing Studio. So most probably you have just selected these languages including variants. To change this uninstall Studio, delete files described here gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge and reinstall Studio.

Though how do I select up to 5 languages when installing Studio? I don't recall been prompted or having the opportunity to do so on installation. I was setting my TM to Spanish and English and then it seemed to lock into that language pair only.

You should simply be prompted for that when installing. This is always the case for the freelance version. To make sure, you can use the Fresh Start app from the appstore.
