Cannot open project settings for any job in Studio 2019 running on Windows 10: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. System.InvalidOperationException

Question

I'm currently unable to open project settings for any job in Studio 2019 running on Windows 10.

When I click to accesss them, I get the error Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation and then System.InvalidOperationException,

The options simply don't open at all, so I'm unable to add/remove TMs and amend QA settings etc.

I've tried repairing the Studio installation, have checked for updates both for my laptop and Studio and have also completely uninstalled and reinstalled Studio but I'm still having the same issue.

Has anyone come across this before? Any advice would be gratefully received!

 As you tried reinstalling, you have the right to contact Installation Help free of charge, here: 
 installation and licensing help 
 Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown menu. 
 Someone will help in the next day or two if you give your correct email address.
