Can I invert source and target languages in an SDLXLIFF file?

Is there an easy way to invert the source and target languages in an SDLXLIFF file?

In my case, I have a fr-CA->en-CA SDLXLIFF file, and I’d like to simply flip the languages so the source language is en-CA and the target language is fr-CA. A 300-page document was created in French and then translated to English, but updates will be made to the English version only, so we’ll need to invert the SDLXLIFF file’s languages in order to use it for PerfectMatch.

I think the following might work:

  1. Create a new fr-CA->en-CA TM with the SDLXLIFF file.
  2. Use AnyTM to invert the TM’s source and target languages.
  3. Pre-translate what was originally the target document (en-CA) using the en-CA->fr-CA AnyTM.
  4. Save the new en-CA->fr-CA SDLXLIFF file.

But this seems like a very roundabout way to do things, so I’m hoping there’s an easier way...

Thanks!
