Trados Studio 2019 freezes on adding a Word file to a project

Question

Hi, 
 I received a simple word file (DOC extension, 260 KB, simple text with one logo in the header). I cannot add it to a project, as Trados freezes on pre-translating or analysing it. 
 I've cleaned it up with TransTools, tried to save the file as DOCX or RTF, or even copy its content into a new Word file, to no avail. 
 I still have Studio 2017 that can handle the file, however, the batch task "pre-translate" is executed when it is run subsequently but the file is not actually pre-translated (matches are missed). 
 Although it is a one-off problem, does anybody have an idea about any solution?

Thanks for sendng me the file Sandor Juhasz . 
 I don't have any problems with this file at all. I think it would be worth you checking your project templates... maybe you are using an old one from a previous version? That is generally a bad idea since you won't get the benefit of enhancements and new features in the template.

 Apologies... I missed your response. The easiest way is to simply reset your templates by renaming the default and then restart Studio. This will recreate it.
