Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - ver. 15.2.4.1693

I have Trados Studio 2019 SR2 - ver. 15.2.4.1693, which closes itself sometimes.

It always happens when Trados confirms a segment, goes to the following empty segment and starts calculating. It then freezes for a couple of seconds, after which the program closes itself.

I use Trados on two computers, with i5-8th gen CPU and with i7-8th gen CUP, both with 16 GB RAM and ssd-drives. On both computers I had this issue. I didn't have this issue with prior versions of Trados (2017 nor 2019 SR1).

I've read on this forum that Match repair can be the culprit.

I have disabled this function in Trados, which seems to help.

Can this issue be investigated?

    Interesting. I have opened a support case because of - among others - the very same issue. Studio 2019 is extremely slow, unstable, crashes often. The support case has been cancelled with the explanation, that this is not a problem of Studio. It is supposedly caused by my machine and I should buy a support contract.

    The support said too, my problems with Studio are supposedly caused by my large TM´s and termbases (which I have been using since years with the previous Studio versions with no problems). I have the feeling, the upgrade to Studio 2019 was a big mistake, which costs me dozens of hours of my time.

    Maybe just a question - if the user disables Match Repair, does he not lose one of the great features of Studio? One of THE benefits for the user and THE reason to purchase it? How long will it take to fix this problem? I´m just asking, because there are very well known issues in Studio, that have not been fixed since years...
