Find & replace and spell checker not working in TQA mode – Studio 2017

Hi everyone,

I was reviewing a document in the translation quality assessment mode and I noticed that the find and replace function and the spell checker are not working properly. When using find and replace, the option ‘replace all’ is not working. As far as the spell checker is concerned, I’ve noticed that it doesn’t go through the whole document. It only finds the errors that are in the first few segments of the translation. In addition, if I want to correct a spelling error, I am prompted to fill out the TQA window. After that, the spell checker does not move on to the next error in the target text. Has anyone else come across the same issues? Is there any solution available for using these two functions in the TQA mode? Thank you!

    Of course... this is the purpose of TQA.

    Indeed... this is where I think an enhancement is required.  We would need to be able to automatically apply the same changes and TQA setup to each result that was found.

    I suggest you raise this as a request through the ideas site - http://ideas.sdl.com - because I don't believe this is a bug.  The workaround is to either complete these one at a time, or do the search and replace in normal track changes mode rather than TQA.
