Can you be a little more specific to help reproduce this?  How many termbases are you using and what type? What version of CU4 are you using (just to double check you are not using an old Beta)?  Any specific steps we could follow to reproduce this?

My Studio version is 15.2.4.1693

This switching behavior happens when I use two file-based MultiTerm termbases as well as when I use a file-based MultiTerm termbase and the IATE online one. My termbases are defined at the "All language pairs" level.

It has to do with restarting something. I just tried a Studio restart, it did not have this effect. I hardly ever restart my PC, so I am doubtful about that. Sorry, it's bit hazy. I was maily wondering whether I am the only user who experiences this.

ok - I'll play a while with your set up and see if this happens at some point.  In the meantime perhaps someone else will chime in.

I just had it again that I quit Studio after a few error messages and after the restart the default Termbase was different. I did not save the stacktraces, but maybe the log would help?
