I am trying to import a psd created with Photoshop CC2019. I am getting this message:
This is a really cryptic error message! What is it trying to tell me? Taken literally it seems to tell me that my Photoshop version is too old, but that can't be...
Studio is up to date and I can't find a plugin in the AppStore. Or am I doing something wrong?

That message seems to be coming from the subtitling plugin. I'll have to test this but can you check you have the latest version of the plugin installed (1.1.5.19) and can you also give me any detauls relevant to your project so I can repro this successfully? So what other filetypes may have been in the project for example?

Confirmed, my subtitling plugin is up to date (1.1.5.19). All other files in the project are ICMLs. Why would the subtitling plugin get involved in a Photoshop file?
I did some tests with text in Photoshop files (CC2019) and the text was imported fine. I'll get to our graphics guys whether there is something unusual about the file in question.

The PSD in question has no text in text layers (my bad), it consists of a placed JPG on a transparent background. This explains why no text was extracted, but it does not explain why the odd error message came.
Attached is a psd file where text is extracted correctly, and the same file flattened, so that the text can't be extracted anymore. This causes the strange error message. Can you replicate the error?

Yes, I can replicate the problem... and I can only marvel at your photoshop skills ;-)
Odd how the subtitling plugin picks that up when there is no translatable text available in the file. Will log it and see what we can do to prevent this from happenning.

Thank you, problem solved. I noticed it did the same for empty (no words) ICML files, so I guess it did it independent of the file type. HOwever, now it's fixed. Thank you. That was really fast!
