What exactly are you looking to edit in the TM?

Segments containing tracked changes in the source and/or target can be confirmed.

When you confirm a segment with tracked changes, the TM should be updated with all changes accepted.

The only way to do this, because there is no maintenance capability in the T that would support this, is do do something like the following:

1. Export your SDLTM to XLIFF (in bite sized chunks)
2. Create a Studio project with the XLIFF files
3. Use track changes in Studio to edit the files as you see fit
4. Once done update to a new TM, or simply update the segments you changed by correcting them in the TM results window

Point 4. is obviously going to take longer if you work that way, but it will be the only way to guarantee you retain the additional hidden values for context matching for example and don't create new ones that perhaps don't make sense since the flow of the segments in the TM may not match the original flow of the file you translated.

We are in the process of doing some extensive QA/Cleaning of our TM.

Some people in our team will review all TM Units and edit as needed.

After that, somebody else will review that edited TM and decide which edits are actually implemented.
