Is there any way of displaying the reference file when translating a .po file?

Hi, 
 I'm translating a .po file and I would like to know if there's any way of displaying its reference file in Trados ? 
 I can send some sample files if need be.

 Have you tried adding the files (as reference) by selecting the project and then add files/add reference files? 
 
 If this doesnt work, please share some sample files (swhale@sdl.com)

 I'm afraid this isn't possible. The PO filetype in Studio extracts the source/target text for translation and that's it, there is no mechanism to use a reference file that may be referred to in the PO file.
