I have certainly never seen this type of behaviour before- Shortcuts always need a combination of CTRL/ALT etc and a letter to create the shortcut.

Maybe somehow the CTRL key has become 'sticky' and isn't releasing properly- Do you have another keyboard that you can test?

Hi Steven - I changed several keyboards. Now I have a brand new HP unit.

The result is the same.

Nevertheless, there are many shortcuts with "ctrl + letter" combination: copy, paste, new, lock and so on.

The problem seems coming from a general slowdown in keyboard recognition during matching process on large TBs or TMs... maybe is the network, maybe is some odd setup.

I am quite sure it is not a pc performance issue - I've a core i7 with a lot of memory and a solid state disk.

As i mentioned before, this behaviour hasn't been mentioned anywhere else before, as far as i'm aware or can see, so is likely to be a local issue.

I would suggest maybe re-organising your Termbase and recreate the project to rule out a bug here somehow.

Maybe also export your TM and reimport into a new TM before adding to the new project.
