Hi everybody. I am in a bit of a nasty situation. My customer is awaiting the final version of his PowerPoint presentation to prepare for his appointment tomorrow. The translation is done and I just wanted to finalize it and send the file. Unfortunately I get an error message and the final PPT is not created 
I use SDL Trados 2019.
Could you provide me with suggestions ASAP please ?!

Is it possible that you are working with a WorldServer client?
The only real reference I can find to this error is in conjunction with WS- https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0029117
If this doesn't help- take the original source file, copy and rename it then open this in Studio as a single file project.
Once open- immediately close the file without doing anything. Do you get the same error?
If so, this would indicate an issue with the source file.
If not you can create a new project and pre-translate through your TM.

Hi Steve. The problem was due to the fact that some segments were not translated. My client decided after I started the project that he didn't need all the slides in French. I thought locking the segments might be enough to avoid any problems but it obviously wasn't. I also looked for a way to make those segments "untranslable" but couldn't find how to do it. To solve the problem, I unlocked the segments and copied the source to target. This did the trick. However, if you have any suggestions on how to handle this kind of situation (text not needing translation after all), I'm still interested :)
IMO you could just put any dummy text in those segments (make sure it's exactly the same dummy text for all), which in turn, will be easy to find later on. The issue is that the PowerPoint file generator does not allow blank section names. Then, within PowerPoint run a global search and replace "dummy text" for nothing. That'll be my solution, if I'm following correctly the issue.

Hi Ozzi. In this particular case, I needed to deliver the file with the original slides in it so I guess the best solution was to copy the source content. But I'll keep your tip in mind. Thanks
