Speaker's notes in SDL Trados 2019

Question

Dear All, 
 It seems that in SDL Trados 2019, The speaker's notes of a PPT won't appear except if I upload the file as a new project and not as a single translation and then I tick the notes in the file types/common of the project settings for each project. 
 So what can be done so that the software adds systematically the notes without having to tick every time? And Why can't I have the notes included whan I chose the option 'Translate as a single document'?

Hi Anne, 
 If you use the single document option you should be able to go to File > Options > File types and modify the settings there. This will carry out the changes in the default project template which is used for the single file translation. Does that work for you?

 Making this change after the project is created is too late because you have already extracted the translatable content. So you need to make these changes in the project templates you are using for your project creation. You could even create two templates if you wanted... one that always extracts notes and another that does not.
