Sharing a TM over the Internet

Question

Hello. 
 I need to share a TM through the Internet because we are two translators in different locations working on the same project. 
 I created a WebDisk in my cPanel webhosting account and then mapped it as a network drive in both computers. Then, I added the TM as File based in both sites. It works fine for one translator, but when we both try to work simultaneously it does not seem to work. 
 I tried to add the TM as Server based. Trados but the software, after apparently connecting fine to the server, is unable to see the TM. 
 Any ideas?

 Please take a look at the following gateway article which explains the options available to you. 
 Sharing a TM within a network should be restricted to max two users. Should more than two users need to share, then we would recommend solutions such as GroupShare. 
 Please also read the section on SDL Support as we are limited on the level of technical support we can offer when file based TM's are shared.
