Cannot open packages after update from 2017 to 2019. And SDL does not provide support for freelancers anymore.

Cannot open packages after update from 2017 to 2019. And SDL does not provide support for freelancers anymore, please help or relay this question to them!  Studio 2019 has a message that it does not find a Printing Environment path.   And Studio 2017 has a message of error trying to determine the file version. This happens with ALL packages. I tried to reinstall and to reset to defaults, no use.  I cannot work on the software anymore and I should not have upgraded...  Any suggestions? Can anyone relay this to SDL people?

  • OK, so what happens next? You click "Open Package" in Studio, select the package and simply nothing happens? Have you already tried to reset Studio according to the description in the Knowledge Base?
