Cannot open packages after update from 2017 to 2019. And SDL does not provide support for freelancers anymore.

Cannot open packages after update from 2017 to 2019. And SDL does not provide support for freelancers anymore, please help or relay this question to them!  Studio 2019 has a message that it does not find a Printing Environment path.   And Studio 2017 has a message of error trying to determine the file version. This happens with ALL packages. I tried to reinstall and to reset to defaults, no use.  I cannot work on the software anymore and I should not have upgraded...  Any suggestions? Can anyone relay this to SDL people?

  • Tks a lot for the help, I did not know those files were hidden under that Users folder! Renaming those 3 xml files solved the issue, I can work now!

(Maybe the author of that article in the SDL database should add there that those files could be hidden and not appear there. I did not know. And that´s why I could not find them. But renaming them worked! So maybe add to the workaround in the database that these files may be hidden and the user needs to show/unhide them before they show up? It took me 2 days to find out...)

    Tks
