Hi,
my anti-virus programme (F-Secure) has just removed the Studio 2019 SR-2 installer plus some additional Studio files as it presumes them to be malicious software:
I had already installed Studio 2019 SR-2 and it seems to be working as normal.
Still, it would be good if the various AV programme were told that this installer is inoffensive in order to avoid such problems.

Just noticed that the first entry "Studio3" refers to Studio 2014 - I do not care about this as I do not use it any more. But I am worried about the Studio 2019 installer and also the Sentinel file which is probably relevant for my Studio 2019 and Studio 2017 license...

It appears that your Anti Virus program is set very high.
This might be because of your corporate security policy.
Please add both Studio and MultiTerm to your AntiVirus 'whitelist' to prevent this from happening in the future.

I am aware on how to whitelist programs in the AV programs and also found this KB article for F-Secure: https://gateway.rws.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0032531
I am just wondering that whitelisting the Studio and MultiTerm applications might not be enough - what about the Sentinel/licensing component, MultiTerm Extract, Trados 2007 compatibility modules etc.?
Are there more comprehensive instructions available in order to ensure that none of the Studio/MultiTerm-related components are blocked by AV programs?

Once you have whitelisted Studio/MultiTerm properly this should cover the licencing modules automatically.
If you are working in a corporate secure environment- then you may need to add more components to the whitelist- depending on your corp IT policy.
Unfortunately there is not a single guide that covers this topic, because there ar3e so many variations and what may have worked for years before- can suddenly stop working after an AV update.
Just to be clear here- AV's will quarantine SDL software formats as these are not common formats- therefore the AV often assumes they are possibly dangerous- sometimes they dont even bother to tell you the files have been quarantined.
