Can you please check if you have the correct settings under keyboard shortcuts in your Studio  as you can see below 

If  in your Studio  contr+enter is indicating :confirm and move to the next unconfirmed segment - , then I would recommend to make a reset to your Studio

1. Close all SDL applications.
2. Go to the following folder:

   • SDL Trados Studio 2019: 
     ·         Windows 7/8/10: C:\Users\[USER_NAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15.0.0.0

   NOTE: If you do not find this folder, make sure that these files are not hidden. See KB article Showing hidden files, folders and extensions on Windows operating systems
    
3. Rename the following XML files (for example, add an underscore before/after the file name):
   • BaseSettings.xml
   • Plugincache.xml
   • UserSettings.xml
      
4. Restart Studio.

Unfortunately this didn't help. I had already checked but then I had to reset the system to fix the issue. The normal reset didn't work: I also had to rename the folder: 15.0.0.0
