I have recently translated a document, confirmed each segment but no TM updating happened. I tried to import the sdliff document into TM but still no results. I can say this for a fact because I have checked the TM file size and was unchanged. The only way to update the TM was to align the source document with the target document resulted and than import the alignment in the TM, but this meant additional work on my part

Could you please give us a bit more details? Have you received any error messages when trying import the sdlxliff into the TM?
Can the TM be updated from other projects, do other confirmed segments from different files get saved into the TM? Similarly, if you import another sdlxliff into the TM, does it work?
Lastly, is it only related to one TM, or does it happen to others as well?
