Hi all,
I was wondering if there's some add-on or other quick solution to work on a bilingual Excel file where the source and target contents are not arranged by column but by row (example: English is in Row 2 and Italian is in Row 3). I can see only "Source Column" and "Target Column" in the Bilingual Excel file type settings.
I'm afraid there's no such a solution, but I just want to make sure I'm not wrong.

Indeed Studio processes Excel files on a column by column basis, and it is not possible in the bilingual Excel file type to switch to rows instead of columns.
However, you can quickly transform an Excel file, replacing the columns and the rows with each other. Just copy+paste the content onto another tab / new file, and use the Transpose option when pasting:

Thank you for your reply. I was already using the Transpose feature of Excel, but I was wondering if there was a more practical solution to handle these files directly in SDL Trados.
The more practical solution is to not create such impractically and illogically formatted files in the first place.
