Standard and fastest method to merge segments?

Question

Hi, 
 Merging segments by selecting one by one for a long document can be a real nightmare. Is there a smart method to merge segments without causing mistakes, missing anything or any harm to our documents? 
 As you see in the below example screenshot, each complete sentence is in its own segment and they should merge to related their sentences. There are many separate segments like this in this example file and merging those segments one by one just wasting time. Are there any tricks to merge segments in a smart may in a short time?

 If you're a keyboard man then alt+shift+downarrow might be useful as you can then easily merge the selected segments (don't forget that you need to enable paragrapgh merging if the segments cross paragrapgh bouondaries - hard breaks).

 You could also use the mouse but I suspect using the keyboard would be faster.

 I don't quite get the whole idea... 
 It's the purpose of segmentation to separate individual sentences to individual segments in Studio! And what you are asking for is to defeat this primary purpose... why? 
 If you don't want to have sentences separated into individual segments, then you should use a TM with Paragraph segmentation turned on instead of Sentence segmentation in the first place. Then you won't have to "revert" the sentence segmentation manually...

I think, Paul Filkin and Evzen Polenka , that Masoud Moghaddam is wishing to keep paragraphs together when they are on the same subject. 
 Perhaps this is because of the different word order in his language or something similar? 
 To do so, he would have to change the TM segmentation rules to ignore full stops, then create a new segmentation rule with a new separator that could be inserted into the source text. Yes? 
 However, I think he may not be aware of the value of individual sentences being available in a TM so that if in future the same texts come up then a different word in one sentence would mean that nevertheless all the other sentences would be a 100% match. 
 My 5 cents' worth

PS I have just re-read your last post, Evzen Polenka and have seen that you have already suggested simply changing from 'Sentence segmentation' to 'Paragraph segmentation' as here: 
 
 I had totally forgotten it was possible to set a TM to paragraph-based segmentation. 
 This may well be your solution, Masoud Moghaddam , which would be much easier than my suggestion...
