I cannot attache a termbase to my new projects any longer.

Question

Hello, 
 Some days ago I started to have a problem with my Multiterm. (I'm using a Studio 2019 Freelance) While trying to attach a termbase to my new projects I get an error message : 
 General error occurred: MultiTerm is unable to retrieve the multimedia object 
 I've made all the updates possible but it doesn't help. 
 Also, during the last days, working on my translations I often get these two messages: 
 "The file C:\Users\...\... autosave\... cannot be found. 
 and 
 "Modifications non autoris&eacute;es bloqu&eacute;es. L'acc&egrave;s contr&ocirc;l&eacute; aux dossiers a emp&ecirc;ch&eacute; SDLTradosStudio.exe d'apporter des modifications" ( Unauthorized changes blocked. Controlled folder access prevented SDLTradosStudio.exe from making changes) 
 I don't know if these problems have the same origin but they started at about the same time. 
 Can anybody help?

 This sounds like something that may have happened after a Windows update and is designed to actually protect your computer from so called ransom ware. Ie it prevents actions being carried out. 
 I would first make sure you have added both Studio and MultiTerm to your AntiVirus provider. 
 Then make sure BOTH Studio and MultiTerm are updated. 
 Should the problem persist, then please check this new MicroSoft article
