When I try to add a File-based MultiTerm termbase, it keeps loading for some seconds and then the software shuts down (and the TB is not added). So it's impossible for me to use a termbase, and I can't work with this problem.
Could someone help, please?

I think we needa little more information here.
Where are you trying to add the Termbase? A new project? An existing one?
Is this a Termbase that has been loaned to you or is this your own?
Could you also please let us know which Studio and MultiTerm versions you are running...

I don't have much experience on this software, so I didn't include some important information. I'll try to explain the problem with more details.
I'm trying to add the Termbase in an existing project.
I first open the project, and then I go to the "Project Termbase Settings". Then, I click on "Use" and then on "File-based MultiTerm Termbase...". Then I go to the folder where the Termbase is, double-click on the Termbase (or click once and then on "Open") and then, after some seconds, the SDL Studio shuts down.
The Termbase is created by the company I'm providing services to: they create, send me, and then I just open. It used to work well until some weeks ago.
The version of my software is SDL Trados Studio 2017 SR1 - 14.1.10017.54688 (see image below).
Well, I guess that's it.
