Hi. I invested in a Vega 64 card a few months ago. Does AMD compute functionality give any boost in Trados performance - thinking specifically about huge translation memories and dictionary generation?
Asking because I think I noticed a speed up, but it's probably self-delusion/placebo effect?

It will be interesting to hear from others who are using a similar setup. I believe such a graphic card is most beneficial in ultra high definition screens (4K+) and is maybe ideal for 'gaming'.
We also recommend using usxing a machine with 16 GB RAM and an SSD drive- which is considerably faster and more reluiable than the standard HDD drives.
