Back in the translation business. Last used Trados when it was in its infancy. Are most people using Macs? Which should I invest in? I had eye surgery and have been using Macbooks ever since. Is there any PC which matches retina quality?

For me... I'd only ever purchase a windows machine. I think the quality has improved with some models and matches a MAC. But for me it's the operating system and the hassle of having to use a virtual environment to run most of the software I use on a MAC. I can't comment on the retina quality through experience, but perhaps Jerzy Czopik or would have a view on this as they are both very technical when it comes to hardware.

Many thanks for the advice. I'm told an LED screen might be the answer. AlthoughI still find the retina displays easier to use. I'm still using my Macbook 15". I'm often on the go so portability's an important factor.
