In Trados Studio 2019, I set the order of AutoSuggest providers as follows: 1. Termbases, 2. Fragment Matches, 3. AutoSuggest Dictionaries, etc.
Despite this setting, the recognized terms are not suggested in the first place in almost all cases.

Is the sort order overriding what you are expecting to see? Is this different in earlier versions of Studio?

Hi Paul,
I would like to see termbase suggestions first. Instead of that e.g. fragment matches are shown first. Often it is not easy to retrieve termbase suggestions. Sometimes pressing ESC to stop AutoSuggest helps.
I guess it was the same in Studio 2017 but I don't really remember.

Perhaps worth adding as an idea in the ideas site... seems like an enhancement request.

I think it is malfunction, not an idea. :o)
By the way, AutoSuggest would be a most valuable part of Trados Studio (if it worked properly).
I discussed this with the development team and had this feedback today.
They’ve had a quick look at the auto-suggest code and cannot see anything that looks wrong – the suggestions should be ordered on the provider order in the options as you expected.
It could be a timing issue. The termbase auto-suggest results are a subset of the editor term recognition results. If the term recognition search hasn’t finished when the user starts typing then the term suggestions won’t be shown. Are the expected results shown in the term recognition window when you start typing? Screenshot from you showing term recognition window and suggestion window?

Perhaps this is not a timing issue. The same problem occurs even if I start typing when the term recognition search has finished. Find attached some screenshots.
