Sometimes happens to me that I'm proofreading, I put it in Final mode and I don't realise that Track changes is unactive, because nowhere in the screen is shown.
When you click on Track changes button it doesn't change colour or aspect, so I'd like to know if is possible to do as in Word and insert in Status bar (or in any other bar) a box
that indicates if Track Changes is active/unactive.

It might be worth you suggesting this in the ideas pages - http://ideas.sdl.com
There is no visual indicator unless you have the Review ribbon open and then you can see the icon for track changes is active. I think an indicator in the status bar wouold be a good idea... would get my vote.
In the meantime perhaps you can set the default as you would prefer?
