I just started using Studio 2017 and I am having this problem.

Whenever I am done with a translation file, I verify then I hit the button generate target translation. It reverts the sdlxliff into the original file (Word for now).

It is supposed to give me a .docx and a .sldxllif file on the server.

It does generate the official format file (translated) no problem. I do get to access a Word format target translation, which is the one I am sending to my clients.

But instead of generating a sdlxlliff, it generates a PDF (with a sdlxliff file name) and I cannot open (in both langages).

When I check the File Types (in Project Settings) SDL XLIFF is the 1st one and the box is checked.

What to I have to change to create a SDL XLIFF file?
