"The project XXX.sdlproj could not be loaded. Error in XML document (644,45). There is an open string literal (Zeichenfolgenliteral). Line 644, position 45."
I received this errror and cannot do anything in Studio 2017 at all. Closed and restarted Studio several times.
Cannot start Studio by clicking on the XLLIFF.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Please go to the folder Documents -> Studio 2017 -> Projects and delete the projects.xml there.
Your Studio will start now with an empty project list. To have the projects back again in Studio, go to the folder of each project you need and double click the *.sdlproj file you'll find there. Also your project templates will be gone. To load them again, go to File -> Setup -> Project templates and chose "Import", then point Studio to template folder and chose the templates you need.

Thanks a lot for the speedy reply. Do you mean I need to remove all project.xml files or only the corrupted files?
There is only one Projects.xml at the given location. And this is most probably the only corrupt file.
