Studio 2017 crashing and not opening

Question

Hello, I've been having problems with Studio 2017 from the first day I used. Extremely slow, constant crashing. 
 
 I started working on a a project yesterday but Studio 2017 freezes every five minutes, every time I try to confirm a segment. Now, after the umpteenth crash, Studio does not open at all and gives me an error message: here is an error in XML document (150, 33) Unexpected end of file parsing Name has occurred. 
 
 I'm stuck and the delivery date is getting closer. 
 I'd appreciate your help. 
 
 Also, do you know how can I contact support regarding this? I mean, I cannot even use Studio anymore, it won't open.

Hi Gabriella Pierro 
 
 Try a Windows Repair of Studio and MultiTerm components, as here: 
 
 Close all SDL applications. 
 Open the Control Panel :
 
 Windows Vista/7 : Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features . 
 Windows 8 : Right-click on the screen at bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel > Uninstall a Program . 
 Windows 10 : Right-click on Start > Control Panel > Select View by: Small Icons > Programs and Features 
 - or type 'Control Panel' in the search line on your bottom Windows toolbar.

Click/highlight the relevant SDL product from the list (e.g. SDL Trados Studio 2019 etc) and click ' Repair' either on the top toolbar or on the right-click dropdown menu . 
 Restart Studio/MultiTerm.

If that doesn't help, try reinstalling both products. 
 
 If that doesn't work, then you have the right to contact Installation Help free of charge, here:

 Select 'Installation' from the 'Case type' dropdown menu.
